• So, I usually give my neighbor's son, Jeremy, a lift to school whenever I am going to work. He knows I leave home by 7am so by 6:30am he is at my gate waiting for me to take him to school.

He is always on time and never comes late. I felt the mother was helping him keep to time as well but I never asked. Me and her has never spoken or talked before. I rarely see her because she leaves home as early as 6am and returns late at night.

    Something bothered me.

Anytime I drop Jeremy at school, he says thank you Dad, embraces me and runs off.

    Haa!

I felt it was strange. I wondered why he called me Dad instead of Uncle.

So I asked him one time while taking him to school.

    "How about your daddy?"

"I don't know him. Mum says he is somewhere and she doesn't know where."

"So why do you call me daddy when I drop you off in school."

"Well because I see you as my daddy. In my school, everyone's dad drops them off at school. And you drop me off at school too."

    I smiled.

I understood where the dad thing was coming from.

On Friday, while driving him to school I noticed he was not happy. He was very quiet all through the ride. I asked him what the problem was and he told me.

"Our school asked our parents to come for an important meeting on Monday. Mummy said she will not be able to come because she will be busy on Monday."

"Is that why you are sad?"

    He nodded his head.

"Everyone father and mother will come. My mother will not be there."

I asked him to cheer up.

On Monday morning, after I dropped him off at school. He came down and said bye Dad.

    I noticed he wasn't happy.

I drove off and by 9am I decided to return to the school to attend the meeting.

When his mates saw me, someone shouted.

"Jeremy, see your daddy. He shouted and ran to embrace me."

He held my hands and took me to where the meeting is being held.

    After the meeting, I left.

He was very happy I showed up. I could see the pride in his face.

This morning, I waited for Jeremy and didn't see him. I went to his house and was told he had gone to school.

This is the first time in 2 months he is going without me.

    I am just worried.

    Really worried.

    So worried.

My name is Amos and I am the best at what I do.

  • This is the face of a stubborn and unteachable divorcee, a frustrated single mother, a separated woman who is running around with other married men just to conceal her shame, she is regretting her actions, yet her pride won't let her surrender, she blames everyone and everything but never accepts her fault, behind her mask or makeup lies deep pain and agony, she is just pretending to be fine and doing better, if you are single or happily married please avoid them lest they poison you with their destructive venomous counsel, Run before they drag you into their miserable club Nti adiroooo kwaaaaa

  • Exactly one year ago, my son Yanmife went under the knife to remove a strange growth in one of his nostrils. At first we thought it was something minor. Little did we know that it was the beginning of our travails. Doctors said he had nasal polyps. That was the first time I heard anything like that! We were told the growth was too big and required surgery. They said endoscopic surgery was our best bet because the growth originated from near his right eye. He ran the risk of losing an eye. That was one of the toughest days of my life. We kept jumping from hospital to hospital hoping to find a solution that didn't involve surgery but got none!

He took antibiotics that were prescribed, used spray.... nothing! Instead, the growth started to increase in size and was smelling badly. He stopped attending school because his classmates were getting irritated. No one wanted to associate with him. We kept doing steam inhalation, hoping to at least reduce the smell. He was always indoors! I couldn't focus on my job, his mom was always crying. Everyone looked up to me. I had to be strong especially for my son but It was really a tough time.

We needed ₦1 million naira for his endoscopic surgery and had no money. It was a time we could barely save. Life was tough! We had so many sleepless nights. It was a traumatizing experience. I was just there; helpless. My son was writhing in pains and I could do nothing about it. When I couldn't take it anymore, I sought help from social media. That was my last resort. It took a lot of courage to do it but I have no regrets whatsoever. With the help of friends, family and strangers I only met on this app, we were able to raise the entire sum and he had a successful surgery.

Again, I'd like to thank everyone that contributed in cash and kind, those that championed my case like it was theirs, those that shared across other platforms, those who called, those who prayed and those that visited, may God bless y'all abundantly. Your contributions were immense and I'm forever in your debt. I'm glad to say I'm in a much better place now and have been/will keep supporting anyone with health challenges to the best of my ability because I've been down that road and I'll tell you for free.... it's a terrible place to be. We saw hell but came back. God is faithful .

Social media is a powerful tool when you know how to use it.

    Gratitude .

  • A man took some loan, bought a house, it was about to be seized, just because he could not repay the loan and interest as agreed.

He posted his situation on Facebook looking for help, but all he could get was zero comments.

So he sent 250 messages to his contact list requesting a loan of #2,000,000.

Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help him. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help and gave him some money.

The other 3 gave excuse and never took his calls.

In the end, he was ejected.
He did not have a place to sleep. He walked in the dark looking for options and unfortunately, A thief stole his empty purse with his ID.

The thief was badly hit by a car in high speed as he fled and died without his body being identified.

Only the bag containing the identity card served as a marker.

The next day the news spread quickly around that he (the Man) had died.

2,500 people posted on his Facebook wall how they knew him and how kind he was.

A committee was formed by his"faithful" friends who raised #7,500.000 to feed people at his funeral.

His work colleagues organized themselves and brought #11.5m for the coffin, the tents and the chairs.

He had to be buried in a coffin worth #3,500.000 but as they hastily bouht it there was a man who sold it to them for #2.000,000 saying it was his contribution.

The family met again, it was a rare opportunity for the family to meet again.

Then there was a sitting. For the funeral, the family contributed #4,000,000.

Everyone wanted to volunteer to show that they were participating.

They printed t-shirts and polos for more than #850,000.

Now imagine the scene when he decided to show himself up on the day of his burial...

While everyone run helter skelter thinking they'd seen a ghost, the man felt embittered, seeing how both family and friends that abandoned him at his darkest hours, extravagantly spent all they had, on mere carcass...

So is life today, A sad reality but part of our daily lives.

It will surprise you to learn that bulk of all those who talk about how much they love the deceased on burial days, are those who never showed him care and love, when he was alive.

Yet, they'll talk from Lagos to abuja, how much they loved him.

When a family member is in dire financial need, nobody will help...but the moment he's dead, money will come from all hidings...

Help your brother/sister when he/she needs you.

Do not wait for their death to show them your love. It will not help them.

    Copied.

  • THINGS ARE HAPPENING IN ENUGU STATE |True Talk

I was pushed out of a running vehicle by robbers on my way from work

i boarded a mini bus from UNTH Ituku Ozalla to Garriki Enugu. on entering the bus i sensed something wasn't right & asked the driver to drop me, he refused but instead increased the speed of the vehicle, the person seated next to me insisted on closing the door, i refused & started dragging the door with them as i was shouting for help while still dragging the door with them.

When we got to a lonely area, they pushed me down while the vehicle was still running in very high speed, I want to thank the good people who rushed me to a nearby Health centre where i was given first Aid treatment before we arrived the General hospital. I also want to appreciate the nurses and doctors for being kind to us.

I just want to alert everyone to always stay vigilant & careful on the type of taxi or mini bus you chose to to enter for they are kidnappers and robbers all over the place wishing to do anything for money, i have lost some of my teeth my condition is bad pls, help me pray for quick recovery & also help me thank God for keeping me alive after this traumatic event."

  • A few days ago, I came across a wedding that deeply touched me. The groom had been covering his face throughout both the traditional and white wedding ceremonies, and no one really knew why.

Now the reason is clear—and it speaks volumes.

This man showed up with courage, and even more powerful was the woman beside him. She chose love, not appearances. She chose heart, not perfection.

Let’s be honest— many of you would have walked away if this were to be you. But she didn’t. She stood tall, full of grace, and full of love.

She didn’t just marry a man. She married his strength, his soul, and his truth.

She truly won my respect—and my heart.

Congratulations to them both. This is the kind of love the world needs to see. May God almighty bless them. Congratulations once more.

#followerseveryonehighlightseveryone #highlightseveryone #reelsviral #friendsfollowersViewers #entertainmentreels

  • THE FEARLESS LEADER

JUST FEW DAYS AFTER DESTROYING A TERRORIST CAMP IN BURKINABE AND CAPTURED MOST OF THE TERRORISTS, ANOTHER CAMP HAS BEEN DISCOVERED BUT THIS TIME THE CASE WAS DIFFERENT AS INFORMATION CONFIRMED THERE WAS A SERIOUS GUNE EXCHANGE.

What you see here, are not guns for sale.. These are weapons captured from the France & U.S foot soldiers, after sending them to hell for judgement. Thanks to a professional operation by Russian and the Burkinabe arm forces, these threats were neutralized and their equipment recovered.

The raid continues in several areas. Proud of the work of our forces!

May AES succeed in her relentless effort to flush out the Western funded terrOrists.

    AFRICA IS ON A RISE
