Joe is Gone, the Young are Going.
It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, Mr. Joseph Momoh Bangura, a devoted member of the Wesleyan Church of Sierra Leone, Kamakwie. The official news of his passing was communicated to the Pastoral Board of the Kamakwie Wesleyan Church at exactly 6:15 PM on the 20th of February 2025.
Joseph was a faithful servant of God, a cherished member of our church, and a pillar of his family and community. His sudden departure has left a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew him. His passing is a stark reminder of the fragility of life, especially among the young, and calls us to reflect on our own lives and faith.
The cause of death has been mentioned to us as "malaria hypothesis B". Family members are currently making preparations to transport his body to the mortuary in Makeni. Further details regarding the funeral arrangements will be communicated to the church and community in due course.
