Claiming they made a mistake during online registration
Said my number was similar to theirs and that the password was sent to my phone
The password was actually 6310
Asked me to share the reset code sent to my phone
Red flag! I asked them to call me from the "similar" number to verify 📞️
They claimed they had no credit on that line
I investigated and discovered it was a scam!
They were trying to reset my bank online/yahoo mail password!
Please be cautious and vigilant! Fraudsters are getting creative every day
