POLICE-LED JOINT SECURITY FORCE RAZES DOWN A CRIMINAL CAMP IN AGULU-EZECHUKWU AGUATA LGA, NEUTRALIZE ONE OF THE HOODLUMS AND RECOVERS TWO SUSPECTED STOLEN VEHICLES, ONE MOTORCYCLE, A LOT OF HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AND OTHERS

Police-led Joint Security Operatives comprising the Department of State Service, Army, Navy, Civil Defence and Anambra State Vigilante members in the early hours of 5th June 2025 razed down an identified criminal Camp and neutralized one of the armed hoodlums at Agulu-ezechukwu, Aguata local government area. The Operatives also recovered one Ash Toyota Sienna with Reg No: EKY 03 FF, one unregistered white Mazda Hilux, one Motorcycle, some household/kitchen items which include: pots, gallons, groceries, some sleeping mattresses, Manchincal tools, clothes and other incriminating items.

The Joint Security Force in a well-coordinated operation overran the criminal Camp after a seven-hour gun duel with the armed hoodlums.

Meanwhile, the Operatives are still combing the area for possible arrest of other fleeing suspects because of a lot of fresh blood stains in the area.

During my NYSC days, I decided to visit my babe — who’s now my ex — all the way from Sokoto to Calabar.
Two days on the road, traveling long and hard. Finally, I got there at 9pm, tired but excited.

As soon as I arrived, my babe dashed to the kitchen to prepare food while I went straight to the bathroom to freshen up. While I was bathing, I suddenly heard a guy’s voice inside the room. I paused, heart pounding. After I finished, I stepped out and saw a guy just chilling comfortably on the bed!

We exchanged greetings, and then my babe drops the bombshell:
“This is my boyfriend. We’re planning to get married.”

Omo, my belle just swollen!
I was like, “Why invite me all the way here when you already have a man?”

She just smiled and said, “It’s payback.”
Payback? I thought. Because I cheated on her just once and we already made up about it.. years ago

The worst part? They didn’t even allow me to sleep in the house.
I had to sleep outside — in the park!
Next morning, I continued my journey, heart bruised but lessons learned.

So Cynthia, my dear, may you suffer waist pain for 200 years. May your photographer disappoint you on your wedding day, and heavy rain spoil your wedding cake! .... You are lucky I have given my life to christ or I got use do sacrifice

Igbo Traders in Ifo, Ogun State shutdown their business over the stabbing to death of an Igbo Woman.

A woman identified as Blessing Eze(Mrs), mother of two have been stabbed to death in Ogun State. The incident occured when some touts began taxing traders over the Eid Mubarak festival of Muslim faithfuls that took place yesterday June 6, 2025, each trader was asked to pay ₦1,500. On getting to Late Mrs Eze, she told them she don't have money as at the time they came, they should come back, as touts they are, they started destroying her goods, which she dragged one of them and asking him to range her goods properly and come back, not that she won't pay but she don't have it as at that time because she have not sold anything. That's how one of them stabbed her on the chest which later led to her death.

So today, Igbo Market Union at Ifo market in solidarity and mourning shutdown their business in protest. Saying before this woman's death, they have been experiencing assault and intimidation from those group of touts. They have declared 4 days mourning which Igbo trader will not display goods rather it will be for protest until relevant authorities intervene on the matter especially the State Government.

One of the Market member who our correspondence interviewed narrated what happened to his wife last year, when the son of the Baba Loja(market head) Waheed, stabbed his wife and he involved the Nigerian Police, he was advised to drop the case for the sake of his life that the said boy is highly connected and deadly.

We implore the State Government of Ogun State to intervene and make sure the perpetrators are brought to book. Festival money shouldn't be by force, it's should have been something of a free will. Don't forget Yoruba women still travels to Onitsha to buy goods.
