I started acting professionally in 1995, but my big break came in 1999 with the movie Endtime. That film made me a well-known face in Nigeria and across Africa. Back then, Nollywood was just growing, and we had to work with little support. We told stories that touched people deeply, and I became popular for my roles in spiritual and strong emotional movies like The Last Burial and Billionaire’s Club.
Today’s generation has it better—there’s more funding, better equipment, and more attention from around the world. But I believe our time helped shape Nollywood into what it is now.
Sadly, I had to pause acting because of a serious health issue that affected my back. It was a very hard time, but I’m grateful for life and for those who stood by me through it all.

So people are still promoting tribalism in 2025?, what happened to we are one and one Nigeria? At least keep your tribalistic trouble to yourself and don't try to spread hate, recently after Davido hosted Igbo veteran singer bright chimezie a fan has come to drag him.
The fan said “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest, Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them, you can never satisfy Ibos ooo, IBOs are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man”.
But Davido gave a peaceful answer sayin “lol I AM IGBO by blood”.

What the Europeans did to Africa by demonizing our local languages in Africa.
Because of English he was flogged and delt in a school in his country. Could you imagine?
He was flogged because he spoke his native language Igbo, can that happen in anywhere in the world? . The Answer is capital NO.
Can you flog a Chinese child for speaking Chinese language? Can you flog a Japanese for speaking his language?
Can you flog a Spanish Child for speaking his language?
Dear Africans let us be wise and embrace our local language now and also be fast in educational and structural development. So that our children unborn will be proud of us all.
