BREAKING: Police have arrested ASP Newton Isokpehi.... the officer who went viral after thr3@tening to Pkai anyone who video him on duty.

In the video that shocked Nigerians, Isokpehi warned that any person who recorded him while he was armed and on duty would be buried. He even went as far as thr3@tening to sh00.t every passenger in a bus if anyone inside dared to video him. The video spread fast and the public outrage was massive.

The Anambra State Police Command responded quickly. They identified him, arrested him, and have since activated disciplinary proceedings against him. He was also subjected to a drug test as part of the investigation.

Although, Isokpehi has returned on TikTok with an apology... saying his words were made out of frustration and that he did not mean what he said. He spoke about his 26 years of service, showed scars from bullet wounds, and begged Nigerians to forgive him.

But frustration does not justify thr3@tening to kpa! innocent civilians. Frustration does not put a rifle to the heads of passengers in a bus. That is not anger... that is a thr3at to human lives.

Let this be a reminder to every officer in uniform...Nigerians have the LEGAL RIGHT to video police officers on duty. It is backed by a court ruling. No badge gives you the power to take that right away.

The era of “I’m in uniform, I can do anything” is ending. Nigerians are watching. Accountability is coming.
